Embassy Dead Drop

Players follow a trail of coded messages throughout Ottawa’s embassy district and uncover how real dead drops shaped intelligence work from the Cold War to modern operations.

Each checkpoint delivers a new clue and a short micro-lesson on covert communication. Participants learn how operatives passed information without ever meeting, how signals were hidden in plain sight, and how opposing agencies attempted to detect these exchanges.

The mission concludes at a designated partner venue where the final virtual drop is accessed, the last encrypted file is unlocked, and the operation is formally completed. The experience blends education, tradecraft, and real-world movement in a controlled mission environment.
